Most people want growth…
But they also want comfort.
The problem is—you usually can't have both at the same time.
Real growth is uncomfortable.
It stretches you. Challenges you. Pushes you into situations that feel unfamiliar.
And that's exactly why so many people avoid it.
Comfort feels safe. Predictable. Easy.
But staying comfortable too long can quietly turn into stagnation.
Nothing changes. Nothing improves. Nothing moves forward.
Think about it physically:
Muscles grow through resistance. Pressure creates strength.
The discomfort isn't proof something is wrong.
It's proof something is happening.
The same thing applies in life.
That hard conversation you've been avoiding? That may be where healing or growth begins.
That new opportunity that scares you a little? That may be the next level calling you forward.
That season where you feel stretched? You may be growing more than you realize.
Comfort is good for rest. But it was never meant to become a permanent address.
The people who grow the most aren't the people who avoid discomfort.
They're the people who learn how to move through it.
So stop seeing discomfort as the enemy.
Sometimes it's the evidence that you're becoming stronger.
Lean into the growth.
Until next time,
Don
