Consistency Changed Me

Consistency changes you.

Twenty-eight days ago, I made a commitment to myself.

Show up every single day.

One post a day. No excuses. No waiting for perfect timing. No depending on motivation.

Just consistency.

And honestly? Some days were easy. Some days definitely weren't.

There were days I didn't feel inspired. Days life felt heavy. Days I questioned whether anybody was even reading what I was writing.

But I kept showing up anyway.

And over these last 28 days, I've learned something powerful:

Consistency changes you.

At first, it feels like you're forcing yourself to do something.

But eventually… it becomes part of who you are.

The reps build the identity.

I didn't just want to become someone who writes consistently anymore…

I became that person through repetition.

I also learned that imperfect action matters more than perfect intentions.

Some of the posts I almost didn't share ended up connecting with people the most.

The honest ones. The simple ones. The vulnerable ones.

That reminded me that people don't connect with perfection nearly as much as they connect with authenticity.

And maybe the biggest lesson of all?

Showing up for yourself inspires other people to do the same.

You never know who's watching your consistency quietly wondering if they can do it too.

What started as a content challenge became something much deeper for me.

It sharpened my thinking. Strengthened my discipline. Deepened my purpose.

And somewhere along the way, consistency stopped being something I was trying to do…

And became part of who I am.

So if you've been showing up for something lately — don't stop now.

The finish line might actually be the beginning of the next version of you.

Until next time,
Don
